Sooo tomorrow I will be 12 weeks so I thought I might as well post again!
I can't believe that I'm already 12 weeks! I remember when I very first got pregnant and someone told me that after 12 weeks your chance of miscarriage decreases a ton. We figured it out and were counting down to when I would be 12 weeks and it seemed like the day would never come!
But ANWAYS...
about the adventures of pregnancy...
As for my body... yuck! I have gained about 4-5 pounds depending on the day, which is right where I should be according to the chart my doctor gave me, so that is good. Only i don't feel like I'm right where I should be. All my pants are tight around my waist and no matter what style of shirt I wear I seem to get a cute little pudge gut...
My mom bought me a couple pairs of maternity pants and my sister in law sent us with all of her maternity clothes and I have tried a couple pairs of pants but they just seem to fall off all day...
This means I get to stay in the lovely in between stage for a little bit longer (hopefully only a little bit!)
Food wise, I am amazed at how much I can eat and how frequently I want to eat! My doctor said to make sure I try to eat somewhat healthy and to just make sure I don't feel like I overeat but that it is normal to have a bigger appetite so I'm hoping I'm doing all right!
Like I said, I've been tracking my weight and Eric and I have been walking and the only thing that is getting bigger is my belly so I guess we will see how things play out!
I crave things like crazy (as I have the whole time haha!)
Mashed potatoes and gravy
cans of spaghetti that is the same brand as spaghetti-o's
frozen burritos with LOTS of sour cream
MILK MILK MILK (We have seriously been going through almost 2 gallons a week between Eric and I, whereas 1 gallon would normally last us almost 2 weeks!)
the wheels and cheese microwave dinners
oriental ramen noodles
Eric says it would be easier to list the things that I don't want to eat... maybe I am eating a little too much haha!
Cooking has become sort of hard this past week or so since I now smell better than a drug dog these days...
This is just a good excuse to waste money on fast food! :)
I also finally broke down and bought a package of paper plates to help with the dishes!
Other pregnancy behaviors are I CANNOT get myself out of bed in the morning, I get VERY emotional VERY easily, and mustering up motivation to do anything is pretty much impossible..
Also, I have some awesome pregnancy brain! For example, twice now I have walked into class with nothing but my backpack and left with nothing at all.. It is always embarrassing to have to interrupt the next class to awkwardly get my backpack.. and Eric's favorite of the night, while writing this blog post I couldn't think of something that could smell really good so I asked him "what animal has the best sense of smell? A cat?" He thought this was pretty funny and let me know what a stupid question it was... He also said I should have changed that part in this post to "I can smell better than a drug cat these days" he thinks he is pretty funny!
Sick wise I have actually been pretty good! I still feel pretty crappy all around but it is a crappy feeling that you can still go about your day!
Our next doctors appointment is next Thursday and if everything goes as planned during the ultrasound out doctor should be able to take a guess at the gender so we can't wait for that!
Until next post, here is a belly picture I took yesterday (so like 11 weeks and 5 days?)

Catch up time...
Sorry... I have let myself get a little bit behind! Things have been nuts with all the makeup homework from the cruise and work so on so forth...
ANYWAYS! So tomorrow I will be 11 weeks! CRAZY! I can't believe it! I'm almost done with the 1st trimester, which means... hopefully this contantly feeling like crap phase will come to an end.
I've been feeling pretty icky and it has been a super big pain with having to stay caught up on schoolwork and force myself to go to work! My manager at work has been super good to work with me, which is really good because I've had to call in twice already :/ On my second call in day I called bawling hysterically because I didn't know what to do because I had already called in too many times and I was worried I was going to get into trouble and we had been dealing with some issues with our medicaid application being denied (which we ended up getting fixed.. pheww!) so I was feeling super stressed about money and I get incredibly emotional! Needless to say I was having a panic attack and wasn't thinking rationally.. Everyone at work thinks I'm nuts now so that is cool!
Other than that, it has been an adventure haha! My cravings change by the hour (which kind of takes a toll on the grocery bills haha) and doign dishes makes me super sick and often times so does cooking which means we have been wasting wayy too much money on eating out... I just figure this is a fairly good excuse haha!
But yeah, that is pretty much all for now! I get to go to the doctor on April 5th when I'll be just over 13 weeks and the doctor will hopefully get to take a guess at the sex of the baby so we are pretty stoked for that! Eric's birthday is coming up, along with easter, a million of my friends wedding's, my sister-in-law and her cute family coming home from Guam for a bit, and my favorite, Graduation, so needless to say we should be kept pretty busy for the next month and a half! Hopefully we can survive!
Until next time! :)
Here are some ultra sounds from our last appointment and a belly pic (of nothing but some extra flab haha!) from when I was 9 weeks to tide you over :)

Baby A and Cruisin' time :)
So I haven't had the chance to get a picture yet thanks to the fact that I jinxed myself by saying that I didn't feel sick. I am at this new awful stage where I am hungry ALL THE TIME and that makes me feel sick, so I eat something that sounds good and that makes me feel sick, so I lay down to try and feel better and that makes me feel sick!
I know I shouldn't complain because I haven't been forced to spend my days hunched over the toilet but I have definitely lost the motivation to do much the past week or so. It is the kind of sickness that is just there enough to make you feel miserable and want to lay around all day.
This has also posed a problem since I have to take the Praxis text this weekend to get into the education program at Weber and I haven't studied for it at all yet :/ Since I paid $140 to take the test I really want to get a great score first time...
I also have a lovely interior design portfolio due when our spring break is over that I am only half way finished with, a midterm for my education class, and test for my human development class I need to finish. It is our spring break this week so Eric and I are going home Thursday morning until Sunday night so I know that doing homework after wednesday will pretty much be a joke.. I also work everyday until then.
So basically I really need some motivation to get all of my crap done and stop being distracted by things such as facebook, pinterest, blogging, and t.v. Having a break from this feeling crappy would also be welcomed with open arms!
We haven't seen Eric's family for almost a month now so Eric has been pretty homesick and we miss our little neices and nephews a ton so that pretty much makes the motivation between the two of us zero... Probably explains why our apartment is a disaster! Oh well I guess haha!
On thursday we are going to drive to Ogden first thing for our second doctors appointment so that is pretty exciting! I am going to be 9 weeks on wednesday so we are hoping to get a pretty good picture of our little gummy bear :) We also want to look around at some apartment options and get an idea for prices in the Ogden area...
In other news I thought I would add a quick summary of our cruise! :)
We had such a good time and it was so nice to get a break from school! We got on the boat on Sunday at 4:00 and spent the rest of the night and all of the next day exploring the boat and eatings LOTS and LOTS food and ice cream. We also had our formal night on Monday :)
Tuesday was our first stop in Cabo and it didn't start quite as planned. We had scheduled a snorkling excursion for the day that was supposed to leave at 10:00 AM and since our boat docked at 9:00 AM we thought it worked out perfect! We would be off the boat by 9:30 and could go get everything ready... What we didn't realize was that Mexico time was an hour ahead of the boat time, which meant that we really didn't get off the boat until 10:30 and that our excursion had left us.
After some bargaining we worked it out and switched our plans around a little bit. We ended up going to Lover's Beach and it was so amazing! Eric and I borrowed some snorkling gear from my cousins and swam around the beach with the cute fishies and just goofed around! I ended up making a huge mistake that made the next few days miserable... I decided to lay out with no sunscreen on my legs... I ended up falling asleep on my stomach and the backs of my legs were FRIED!!! It hurt so bad! Not to mention I got Heat Exhaustion from not drinking enough water which would end up ruining our next day.. We then went and shopped and ate at a super yummy resturant and got back on the boat for the night.
Wednesday was our second day in Cabo and we ended up doing our snorkling excursion that day.. at least everyone else did. For the excursion we got on a little boat and they took us on a 40 minute ride to a cute little cove and everyone got to get out and snorkle. Only thanks to my lovely sunburn on the way there I got really sick and felt like I had a fever. I was freezing and shaking and couldn't keep my body temperature regulated. We decided since the water was cold and I was having temperature issues that it would be best for me to stay out of the water. Eric was able to snorkle though and he had such a great time! He said there were so many cool fish and that his favorite fish was a scorpion fish!
Thursday was our day in Puerta Vallarta and luckily my sunburn was feeling much better! We did a zipline excursion that was sooo much fun and then went around shopping for the rest of the day! Puerta Vallarta was crazy because not very many people spoke good english and everything was in peso's which made me feel super out of place. It was so neat to get to see the difference in cultures!
Friday and Saturday were days just on the ship and let's just say they weren't nearly as enjoyable as our first ship day! The current was a lot more rough going back which made the ship very rocky. My lovely morning sickness and super sensitive nose helped to ruin the last two days as well. I ended up not being able to eat very much without getting sick so I spent most nights napping in our room while Eric went to dinner with my family in the nice resturant (The smell made me SUPER sick!) and then he would come get me after to go get something from the buffet (I had lots of salad, grilled ham and cheese sandwiches, and rice with soy sauce haha!) then we tried easy going activities like watching comedians and the different theatre shows they had.
I think Eric would have stayed on the boat for a month but I was pretty happy to get to solid land after the last two days! Altogether though, our cruise was truly amazing and I loved being able to go with all of my family!
