Then comes a baby in a baby carriage...

On February 1st, 2012 I woke up to the most amazing surprise...
We found out that we were going to be welcoming a new little one into our family. We were so excited but decided we wanted to tell our family in person so we held off sharing our exciting news with everyone but our good friend who is also expecting, Amanda and Eric's sister who lives in Guam, Britt! Almost a week after we found out we told our families the exciting news! We told everyone by showing them these pictures...
Chad and Melanie didn't understand what the pictures were saying at all and had to have Emily explain it to them. My mom took one look and said "I knew you were pregnant!" My dad looked at it for a longggg time and then said "Really??" and everyone else just congratulated us immeidately! It was so fun telling everyone and it made it really hard to keep our secret for 2 more weeks when we had our first doctors appointment and decided to tell everyone on facebook.
Our first doctors appointment was awesome! We are seeing Dr. Wesley Davis at the Circle of Life Women's Center in Ogden and we get an ultrasound everytime. We saw the heartbeat super faint our first appointment and can't wait for our next appointment in a week and a half.
I will be 8 weeks in 2 days and so far so good. I have been a little sick but nothing to complain about. I am super sensitive to smells and have cravings like CRAZY!! I have also been a little (Eric says A LOT) moody too haha! One second I am happy and the next I am spitting fire. We should get to find out what we are having in a little over a month and we can't wait! My dad wants us to have a boy sooo bad and my sister wants us to have a girl really bad so it is a constant battle between my family over what we will be having. Eric and I just want a chubby healthy baby haha! Boy or girl. We are soo excited for everything and have been blessed with so much love and support from everyone we know.
Thanks to some advice from my wonderful Grandma Cheryl, I have decided to try and be better at blogging during my pregnancy so that I have sort of a journal of the 9 months. I will try to do some belly pics every couple of weeks and share ultrasounds, symptoms, and funny stories.
We just got back from a cruise thanks to my other wonderful Grandma so we are kind of busy this week but I am hoping to get my first belly picture (I am not really showing yet, but I wish I was.. I just look like I ate a huge meal all the time haha!) taken sometime this week and get another post in about the cruise and all that fun stuff! so until then here is our first ultrasound of our sweet little blueberry! :)
