20-22 weeks :)

So I did much better at keeping up on my posts when we were in Ephraim! Being home for the summer has made us busier than expected!
Anyways, I suppose I'll play catch up on the past 3 weeks in this post :)
20 weeks:
Nothing crazy happened this week, and to be honest I am having a hard time of really coming up with any fun pregnancy news! :/
I could feel Asher moving pretty much every night this week but Eric still couldn't get him to cooperate!
The end of this week I started to feel a little bit of pain on the left side of my groin and up onto the side of my belly...
Other than that we just kind of took it easy. Eric hadn't started work yet and I am only working 20 hour weeks so we got to spend lots of time together! :)
21 weeks:
This week Eric finally got to feel little Asher move! :) He only felt one kick but it was a pretty strong one and made us both pretty happy haha!
My belly started to pop out a little more (still not as much as I would like, but it is slowly getting there!)
This was the week of memorial day and we also had our doctors appointment with our new doctor AND the target appointment with an ultrasound technician! :)
It was so much fun! Our new doctor is soooo much better than our old one! We were still only with him for probably 15 minutes (10 minutes longer than our last doctor though haha!) but we learned so much! During the ultrasound he showed us the different parts of the brain and explained to us how they know that Asher is developing perfectly. He also showed us the heart and explained how the placement of his heart is right where it should be, meaning that over 95% of heart defects are nothing to worry about now! :) I couldn't believe how much better he was.
The ultrasound tech was also super fun! She was so nice and spent about a half hour with us and was super patient (Asher was being a brat again and wouldn't let us get very good pictures... imagine that! haa!) and gave our naughty little boy no other choice but to cooperate. We got some awesome 3D pictures of his cute little face and some more proof that we are definitely having a boy (that always makes Eric super proud haha!)
This is the proof of a boy!

what a handsome little guy right??

Other than that, my groin/stomach muscle had still been giving me some trouble but I forgot to ask the doctor about it! My mom thought it could be a round ligament but when we looked that up it says that round ligaments usually occur on the right side of your body and this pain is definitely on the left!
After looking through my "What to expect when you're expecting" book for a good 45 minutes I read a little thing about hip flexors and I am pretty positive that is what is hurting me. It is a really crampy sore muscle kind of pain and it hurts the worst when I bend over, go from sitting down to standing up, or lift my left leg to tie my shoe or anything like that. It also hurts when I walk so even though I don't have the cute belly I already have a pregnancy waddle :/
Belly bump at 21 weeks :)
I also finally reached the 10 lb weight gain mark! I have mixed emotions about this but since all the books say that for my height and weight before pregnancy I should have gained at least 13 lbs by now I figure I'm doing alright haha!
22 weeks:
Well I am just in the first half of my 22nd week and so far nothing to complain about!
My back and hip flexor are both being pains but nothing that I can't live with!
Asher moves around ALL NIGHT pretty much every night so I take it he is doing well haha...
Eric started work this week and has really enjoyed it. He was worried because the boy he worked with last summer ended up not coming back this summer but he said his new work buddy is pretty cool too.
My appetite is now HUGE!! All I ever want to do is eat and I never feel full...

Other than that all is well! Asher's collection of clothes, blankets, and other odds and ends continues to get bigger (I don't know if that is a good or bad thing haha!) and Eric and I are getting more and more excited by the day! We can't wait for our little man to be here.
