Weeks 30-34! :)

Okay so I deserve an award for being the biggest slacker there is... I didn't realize how behind I let myself get! Oh well! I have decided I pretty much have THEE most boring pregnancy on the planet so I'll try my best to remember what weeks the very few exciting things happened. Also, in my defense, the past few weeks have been SUPER busy between starting to have appointments every 2 weeks, work, getting everything for school figured out, and now this week attempting to get our apartment unpacked and going to the first week of our classes. But anyways, now for the good stuff!

Week 30:
So to be completely honest I don't remember much about this week... It was an entire month ago haha! Nothing too exciting must have happened with my pregnancy during this week because like I said, very few things did happen so I pretty much remember all of them haha! I did, however, throw a paparazzi party thanks to the help of my awesome friend Courtney Worthington! :) It was a lot of fun and super nice to get to catch up with some old friends who were able to make it. Other than that just work and life happened! :)

Week 31:
This week I had my first baby shower for my friends! It was a lot of fun and got both Eric and I super excited for our little guy to get here. I haven't downloaded the pictures to my computer yet so I will have to do a post of strictly baby shower pictures later on. It ended up being kind of a crazy day to have a baby shower, thanks to our not very organized planning, but everything worked out in the end! Baylee was the host but what we failed to realize was that it was the same night as the Grantsville Red and White game so she also had to cheer which made it so her and my mom had to be about 20 minutes late. Also, I grossly under estimated how much time it would take to get everything set up so as the party was supposed to be starting Eric, my grandma, and me were all running around trying to get everything ready... of course, as soon as we got all the decorations up it started raining so we ended having to do everything inside haha! Not very many of my friends were able to make it to the baby shower, which was a little disappointing, but I still had so much fun with all of the amazing people who could make it! Asher got soooo much cute stuff that has just made me more and more anxious for him to be here. This kid will definitely never have to go without thanks to all of our family and friends! We are so lucky to have so much love and support!
Here is a picture of my 31 week belly! :) I finally look like a pregnant woman! :) However, funny story, when I was in line at walmart to buy the table cloths, plates, and silverware for the baby shower, the lady behind me in line said "looks like a party!"
I laughed and told her that it was for a baby shower and she then asked me if the shower was for my sister or a friend. I told her it was for me and she said "you're kidding! Are you only like 2 or 3 months pregnant??" I just laughed and told her I was 7 months pregnant...
I really wanted to slap her in the face for not saying something about how pregnant I was looking or asking if I was due anytime... I have been working hard at growing this belly! haha!
Everyone told me I should feel flattered that at 7 months pregnant I only look 3 months along, which maybe I would, if I didn't feel like a baby elephant stomping around!
Other exciting news this week...
I had a doctors appointment! :)
As usual, we had nothing but great news and we even got some great 3D pictures of Eric's little clone!
Eric didn't want to take off anymore work since he had to take off the week for the 24th of July and the 4th so my mom ended up going with me. Well she normally goes on and on about how creepy the 3D pictures are and says that you can't really tell and when the doctor brought the picture up on the screen the first thing my mom said was "holy crap! He looks just like Eric!"
I started cracking up but she was sooo right! We have got ourselves one little handsome fella on the way.
This is our little Allred baby! He has Eric's exact lips!

My mom thinks this picture looks a lot like our nephew Cache!

This isn't the best shot but it was the best I could find off of our DVD. He has great big ears!! haha!

and again with Eric's adorable lips! He is going to be one handsome and chubby guy! :)
The doctor said that Asher weighed about 4 1/2 pounds and is just growing lots and lots! He said to plan on a 7 1/2-8 pound baby if things continue and I make it to my due date!
and the last thing that happened this week was that we moved all of our stuff into our apartment in Ogden! We didn't have time to unpack or put stuff together but we got everything in none the less!

Week 32:
This week we had baby shower #2 for all of my family and family friends! We had a great turn out and the weather was a lot more kind to us haha! Asher is one SPOILED boy is all I have to say...
We are seriously so blessed to have so many people who love and care for us and show us so much support! We got sooo many great gifts that are really going to help ease the financial aspect of having a new baby. We pretty much don't have to buy anything new between all of the gifts from our showers and hand-me-downs from aunts, sisters, and friends. I seriously can't even begin to describe how blessed we are!
Other than the baby shower the only other important thing that happened is that I had my first contraction in the middle of the night! The doctor said I should start having them a lot at night and during the day but my mom said she never did until she was in labor and I have only had one in the middle of the night and it wasn't bad at all so I am thinking I will probably be more like my mom in that aspect!

Week 33:
This was our last week in Tooele and it was crazy busy! We had lots of packing and cleaning to do and Eric worked the whole week still to help make a little extra money. We also had a doctors appointment and Emily's wedding!
Emily's wedding was gorgeous, of course! They were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple and had their reception at the Jensen's house in Erda. It was so beautiful and everything worked out great! :)
The doctors appointment went extremely well too!
Asher is weighing in at a whopping 5 1/2 pounds and his head is measuring 3 weeks ahead of schedule (I'm not overly thrilled about that haha!) but we are so thrilled to see him growing and so healthy! That is our goal, afterall, to have a super healthy baby that just comes straight home with us and continues to grow without any problems! :)
andddd... For the best news yet! ERIC GOT A JOB THIS WEEK!!!! woot woot! :)
We are feeling more than blessed with the way that everything has worked out for us! It really helps strengthen my testimony that as long as we keep doing what we are supposed to the Lord will take care of us... Even if things seem a little hopeless at times!
He will be working in the Student Alumni call center, which won't be amazing work, but he really likes the lady who hired him and is his supervisor and the hours are Mon-Thur 5 PM- 9 PM so we really couldn't ask for anything better! He will still be able to spend time with me and our little guy and we will still have money to eat! Yay! Not to mention, having the weekends off is going to be beyond perfect!

Week 34:
This week has been CRAZY to say the least! School started this week and can I just say that Eric and I are in for an interesting semester... Our classes are looking to be a lot more difficult than both of us were expecting and not to mention the whole schedule thing has turned into a giant mess! Thanks to Weber being a pain and making me completely re-do my schedule Eric and I have 3 classes where we will both have to be in class or work... We are just praying that everything works out and that teachers won't mind us bringing a little newborn to class for the last few weeks of the semester and that if they do we will be able to find some babysitters and trustworthy people to watch him!
Moving into our apartment has been a huge joke as well... I forget how hard moving is!! We have spent what feels like millions of hours this week unpacking and we still haven't gone through 4 boxes or started the decorating/fine tuning! I guess things will work themselves out though!
This weekend is labor day so we get to back to Tooele for the weekend for some quality time with the fam which I am overly excited for... I knew moving into an apartment without AC was going to be hard, especially being almost 8 months pregnant, but what I wasn't expecting was for my feet to swell up about 10 times bigger than they normally are!

It doesn't matter how much water I drink or how active I stay or how long I keep them elevated, they are still HUGE!!!! I am hoping that getting to spend 3 1/2 days in my Grandma's lovely air conditioned home and just take it easy will help them to go back to their normal size so that when we come back to Ogden they don't explode!
My entire pregnancy I have felt pretty fine and like I could keep up with any kind of physical activity... well lets just say that between the heat, and the crazy big hills on campus, this week I feel 8 months pregnant haha!
I have been having a few more contractions and even some during the day which is really starting to freak me out because I need this guy to stay put until his due date so that I can get a good majority of my schoolwork over with...
However, it would be nice to have normal sized feet again and not have a heart attack from walking up one flight of steps, not to mention I would prefer to give birth to a baby who doesn't have a head the size of a grown man... haha!
I am still pretty lucky though, as far as pregnancy symptoms go! My swollen feet are the only super uncomfortable problem right now. Even my contractions don't really hurt, they just feel super weird and my stomach gets crazy hard! We have an appointment in about a week and we are excited to hear what the doctor has to say!
Other than that Eric and I are just going to hurry to get the apartment put together and all of our schoolwork taken care of and will welcome this baby whenever he feels ready (but I have a presentation in my health class in 2 1/2 weeks so he would probably be a little more welcomed if he could wait like 3 weeks at least! ;) haha!)
