28-29 weeks :)

28 weeks:
This week of pregnancy brought some not so welcomed symptoms....
I found my first stretch marks :(
I was super depressed about it but when I showed Eric he assured me that "I was being a huge cry baby and that he didn't even know if he would consider them stretch marks."
It made me feel better.... oh wait, no it didn't!! (that little punk!)
Anyways, he was still a pretty good sport to take me to walmart and let me buy some body oil to lather on every morning and night and hopefully make my 3 little new friends my only friends!
Other than that, this week was pretty easy going!
Eric and I bought Just Dance 3 for our Kinect for only $20 and I am soo pumped! It is such a good workout and you do it indoors so I plan on using it as a super good exercise incentive after Asher gets here and the weather gets too cold to run outside! :)
Even more exciting news that happened during my 28th week of pregnancy... WE GOT AN APARTMENT!!!!! (finally!)
It is such a blessing too because it is a low income apartment that we applied for in May but thought we had no chance of getting one in time because they told us the waiting list was at least 6-12 months long!
It is seriously like 1/3 of the price we could find anywhere else and it is all based off of how much money we make so we should never have to worry about being able to pay rent with Eric's income!
This is great for so many different reasons!
One being that because of this, all of the money we have worked so hard to save this summer will get to remain in our savings for important things.
Another being that this should mean that as long as I am a full time student I won't have to get a job and will be able to stay home with our sweet baby boy and we will still have enough money to live off of!
This whole experience has been a huge testimony builder of tithing for me...
The neighborhood that our complex is in is so-so but the actual complex is kind of rough looking...
The insides are AMAZING though! They are built like town homes so we don't have to deal with neighbors complaining that we are too loud or living underneath someone that is loud themselves (and I can play Just Dance 3 as crazy as I want haha!) and the carpet and everything is pretty new!
They don't have an AC, dishwasher, garbage disposal, or washer and dryer but we have started hunting for some heavy duty portable AC's, don't mind doing the dishes by hand, and with all the money we are saving on rent we don't mind paying the $20-$30 a month to use a coin operated washer and dryer!
The lady that helped us sign our lease and everything says that it is one of the easiest going properties they have and that everyone keeps to themselves so we should have plenty of privacy!
We also asked about crime rates in the area and any problems with the law that happen often and she said that nothing has happened in years so we are willing to work through the downfalls! :)
The kitchen :) I am in love with the cubbords and drawers! They are brand new and soooo pretty!

The bathroom!
One of the bedrooms/closets!

29 weeks:
So this week is only half way over and it has still been pretty eventful! On the mark of my 29th week I had a doctors appointment so that is always exciting! :)
Eric got to come with me this time because he had the entire week of for the 24th of July. We didn't get very good ultrasounds because our little stink is breech at the moment and had his arms right in front of his face so our Doctor said it would be easier to wait until our next appointment (which is only a week and a half away since I have to go every 2 weeks now since I am in my 3rd trimester! crazy!) to try and get some good 3D pictures of his face now!
Asher is approximately 3 1/2-3 3/4 pounds right now and the estimated birth weight is now 7 3/4-8 pounds! (it goes up every appointment, which scares me... if this kid doesn't cut it out I'll be giving birth to a 15 pounder!)
There were no read flags and I also had to do my official sugar test and everything looked great!
Dr. Bierrer said my weight and blood pressure were perfect so to just keep doing what I'm doing (which honestly, I feel like all I do is eat and eat unhealthy food at that, but apparently it isn't too awful haha!)
In addition to the 24th of July and our doctors appointment we also got to go to Cherry Hills yesterday for our sweet little Addy's birthday, go to my Grandma Cheryl's for a family bbq and family pictures since Bret Lee is out to visit from Washington, and deal with a super flaky girl from KSL...
I can't resist sharing our story about our disrespectful KSL friend but I promise after this I'll stop haha!
SO.. since our apartment doesn't have an AC we have been looking on KSL to try and find a portable one for cheaper than buying one brand new. (they are about $500 in stores which is more than we want to spend!)
Well we found this girl who was selling her 2009 Amana portable AC for $150 which is a steal so I started texting her thursday morning and after getting all the information we needed we decided it was a great deal for what we would be getting and made plans to meet on Friday at 5:30 PM to pick it up!
She lived in Salt Lake so I had to leave work 30 minutes early to get there in time, which was a tiny bit of a pain but again, we felt like it was worth it!
So at 4:30 I sent her a text telling her that we were leaving Grantsville and that we should be there in 45 minutes. She replied back that she would be ready for us and to text her when we got closer so she could plug it in and get it running so we could see how it worked.
I texted her when we were about 5 minutes away from her apartment telling her where we were and that we would see her soon...
She again replied saying that she had just plugged it in and to text her as soon as we got there and she would meet us outside so we didn't have to search through her apartment complex to find her.
2 minutes later I recieved a text from her that read: "Ughh.. I feel like the worst person ever. The people who are keeping it in their apartment just offered me $200 for it and I'm going to have to take it... I am so so sorry. :("
I couldn't even believe it! I understand that they offered her $50 more but she had made an agreement with us and knew that we had just drove 45 minutes to come give her the money.
I wanted to text her back and say "okay, well we are outside your apartment and are just waiting for you to bring us down the gas money we just wasted on you." but Eric told me to not reply...
I couldn't resist and did actually reply by saying "Wow. Thanks for the notice... We just drove 45 minutes to complete this "agreement." Nice doing business with you."
I was so upset! I couldn't believe that she would be that rude to us for $50 more dollars! She didn't even text us and ask if we were willing to go higher on the price or anything...
We figure it must have happened for a reason (and secretly hope that the dang thing dies on the meany heads that stole it from us!) haha!
Anyways... This post was supposed to be super short and has ended up turning into a novel so I suppose I'll call it good :)

23-27 Weeks!

Okay... so I can officially be called a slacker! :/
I knew that I had let myself get behind, but I didn't realize I was 5 weeks behind!!! Ahhh!
Let's see if I can sum up what I can remember of the past 5 weeks of my pregnancy!

23 Weeks:
This week was pretty easy going! :)
Since I felt Asher move for the first time he hasn't stopped wiggling! Eric had felt him several times by this week.
This week included my 20th birthday (which was pretty awesome :)) and just the usual stresses of trying to find an apartment in Ogden, figuring something out as far as jobs and income goes, and getting both of us registered for classes.
For my birthday we just kind of took it easy since it was a weekday and Eric and I both had work. My mom made me homemade lasagna which was delicious and I got lots of cute new clothes (including a super cute Victoria Secret Pink sweatsuit that I am going to wear home from the hospital when Asher is born!) A couple weeks earlier we ordered me a new cell phone off of ebay and since it was $70 we just counted that as my birthday present from Eric haha!
As far as success with finding an appartment and jobs.... nothing had happened by this point.
I did get myself registered for classes, however, so we are working our way there!

This is my belly at almost 23 weeks! It is starting to look a little more round but not nearly as much as I'd like!!

24 weeks:
This week was also pretty easy going!
We did start getting decorations for Asher's room made!  We have decided to stick with a sports themed bedroom, but rather than buying the bedding we are going to buy the fabrics we like and have my aunt make a set for us!
We found a few cute sports bedding sets but we either didn't like the colors or the pictures and details so we decided that if we make our own we can pick what colors we want exactly and just turn the room into a sports theme with decorations, blankets, and pillows.
We have decided to stick with a bright red, royal blue, brown, and tan color scheme! We thought that went well with sports and it was a good color scheme for a boy so if we want to use it for our next boy we can switch the theme and still have a cute room! :)
My belly was starting to get to the point where if I wore tight shirts you knew I was pregnant!

25 weeks:
This week I had a doctors appointment! :)
Eric felt like he shouldn't take off work because we had a trip planned to California this weekend so he wanted to get as many hours in as he could so my mom took me.
The appointment went really well! Dr. Bierrer told me that Asher is growing A LOT and that he was close to 2 pounds when most babies only weighed almost 1.5 pounds by 25 weeks!
He told us to expect at least a 7.5 pound baby (possibly closer to 8 pounds!) if things keep going the way they are! :)
This week we also went to San Diego so that Eric's sister could go through the temple with her fiance. We left on Friday morning and spent the whole day driving there.
Saturday we went through the temple, out to dinner,
and to the Mormon Battalion Museum.
Sunday we went to this little beach area, Old Town San Diego, and just took it easy.
Monday we spent the day at Sea World.
Tuesday we headed home. It was a great trip and a lot of fun to get a break from work and the real world.
During the drive to California my feet got REALLY swollen!
This is what they normally look like! I had to drink a ton of water and walk around a bunch to get them to go down but they finally started looking a lot better! :)

26 Weeks:
This week was the 4th of July! :)
Since we had spent the past weekend with the Allred's we spent the whole day with my family and had a great time!
We started the day by going to the parade in Grantsville, then we went over to my Grandma Cheryl's and Grandpa Richard's house for hamburgers.
Later on we went to the park and walked around for a few hours and then we went up the canyon with my other Grandparents to escape the heat!
That night we came back and watched the fireworks at the Stake Center!
Other than having to fight the traffic all day, we had an awesome 4th of July :)
Once again, nothing super eventful happened as far as the pregnancy goes haha! I have an extremely boring pregnancy!
This week I did start to feel more and more rib kicks from my little stinker... I HATE THEM!! haha!
They don't hurt but they don't feel good either. He kicks and kicks all day and I usually love getting to feel him be his wiggly little self but when he kicks up in my ribs I just want to paddle his little butt haha!
Eric and I also saw my belly literally move cause he was kicking so hard this week.
I can't decide how I feel about this... It is kind of creepy but so cool at the same time haha!
My belly is finally starting to look cute if I pick good outfits! Everyone keeps telling me that I should be happy that my belly is so tiny still and that I will be so sick of having a huge tummy by the time Asher gets here but since I am the one that gets to deal with people not being able to decide if I am fat or pregnant I still think I would rather have a big popped belly haha!

27 Weeks:
This was my first week in my 3rd and final trimester... CRAZY!! I can't even believe that I have less than 3 months until my due date!
(this is at 27 1/2 weeks!)
I have really just been loving being pregnant and trying to enjoy the fact that I get to spend time with my baby without any screaming, pooping, peeing, and sleepless nights haha!
(well sort of with the sleepless nights... I have to wake up at least 3 times a night to go potty!)
(This is at almost 28 weeks :))
Other than that though, Eric and I are STILL trying to get everything figured out for when we move down to Ogden....
This stresses me out SOOO much!
We want to move in exactly 1 month from Friday so this week we need to make some major decisions!
We are both registered for a full load of classes and both have our grants and I have a small scholarship so we know that school is completely taken care of... Now just for the rest of life haha!
Other pregnancy news... My feet have decided to be bratty and get swollen every night if I don't drink at lest 3 million gallons of water a day! haha! I have been downing water like crazy which helps keep my feet small but I am up all night!
Anyways... I will be 28 weeks tomorrow but I am going to wait to post anything about being 28 weeks until I get to experience being 28 weeks haha!
We have a doctors appointment one week fromWednesday and can't wait until then! :)
