Weeks 35-37... SOOOO close! :)

Week 35:
So this week we had another appointment... it went great and got us super excited for everything that is coming here shortly! :)
We got to see some more adorable 3D pictures of our chubby cheeked guy and find out that he is growing as good as ever and also that.... HE HAS HAIR!!!
We didn't even know you could tell that from an ultrasound but Dr. Bierer says it looks like he will be born will a full head of it! We were expecting a little baldy for sure!
Other exciting news from this appointment... I got checked for the first time and it turns out that I was already dilated to a 2 and 50% effaced! :) Dr. Bierer says this means that I probably won't make it until October and if I do then it will be within the first few days for sure!
CRAZY!!!
I unfortunately don't have a picture of the adorable ultrasound we got thanks to my lovely job of losing our DVD for the time being but hopefully I will find it soon and be able to scan the picture onto the computer and add it with a later post!
Here is a belly picture... I am HUGE!! I can't believe how my belly just popped out! Eric says it looks like I'm hiding a beach ball under my shirt haha!
Week 36:
Since we are to weekly appointments, we also had an appointment this week! :) After lots of contractions we found out that I am now dilated to a 3 and 75% effaced and Dr. Bierer said I would probably make it a week but not much longer!
We still can't even believe this is all really happening! It is so crazy!
My belly has been getting even bigger which means sleeping is becoming even more impossible which means I don't think I'll be too disappointed when this boy decides to make his appearance haha!
Asher is measuring excellent as always! His head is measuring in at 40 weeks and 3 days even though I'm only 36 1/2 weeks so hopefully I do have him soon so his head isn't huge by my due date haha!
The doctor also thinks he probably weighs about 7 1/4 pounds by now and told us to expect a big healthy boy! :)
It might just be me but I feel like my belly has grown a ton even just from a week ago! I didn't think I could possibly get any bigger! My belly button is the weirdest looking thing and Eric teases me about it all the time. It can't decide if it wants to pop out or stay in so it is just stretched almost flat like I don't even have a belly button! haha!
Although he teases me a lot, he has still been a pretty great sport! My feet are still swollen HUGE so Eric has been extra good to give me foot rubs and take extra good care of me! What a good husband! :)
Week 37:
This week is only half way over but we have still had some exciting things happen... Such as false labor ALL night on Wednesday! I was for sure that I was in real labor but I was waiting for something big to happen so I knew for sure (which it was a good thing I did wait because I would have been embarrassed if I woke Eric up and made him drive me all the way to the hospital for them to tell me it was just practice haha!)
I woke up about 45 minutes after we fell asleep with super bad contractions and feeling super sick to my stomach! I had contractions every 5 minutes (sometimes less) for about 4 1/2 hours and got absolutely no sleep.
It was awful. Especially because the whole time I just laid in bed stressing myself out because our apartment was a disaster and I hadn't packed mine or Asher's bags and our insurance card was lost along with our DVD...
Needless to say I wasn't feeling ready for him to come at all haha. I finally got out of bed at 6 AM and took a hot shower and that made me feel a million times better so I was able to get about 45 minutes of sleep before class.
It was also the motivation I needed apparently because after classes I came straight home and gathered up everything we need for the hospital, called about our insurance and got everything straightened out there and worked on the apartment (it is still not all the way unpacked or ready for the baby to come but it is a million times better now haha!)

Since then I have had contractions quite a bit but never super consistent like they were that night so we have just been waiting for the real thing to happen!
Dr. Bierer isn't going to be in the office until next Wednesday and then he was booked until Friday so our appointment isn't for another week and if his prediction is correct (which I am starting to hope it is haha!) Asher will be here by then! If not, I'm hoping to hear some exciting news at our next appointment like maybe a day to be induced since I'll be almost 39 weeks! :)
This week we also found his adorable take home outfit and diaper bag! :)

I had another obligation for school come up next week though so once again I am being very unrealistic in setting boundaries on when he can be born haha!
I am supposed to have an interview to get into the education program on tuesday afternoon so this baby needs to decide to be born by monday at least so I can reschedule for friday and just try to go in drugged or wait until I can finish the interview haha!
Anyways... we are heading back to Tooele this weekend to get a few last minute things worked out like the changing table painted and his take home outfit washed so hopefully when we come back I can finish the apartment entirely before Asher is born! :)
I'll try to keep everyone posted!
